i, too, agree that there should be a way to customize workouts. i realize that a lot of hard work went into the fabrication of all of the routines posted for the various goals each member wishes to accomplish but sometimes issues occur where it is not possible to follow through with the prescribed workouts. for instance, i injured myself and cannot currently perform certain shoulder and arm exercises. i would still like to keep track of the routines i'm performing on other body parts and the modified strength training i'm working on with my physical therapist. it would make it so much easier to be able to keep track of everything i perform instead of having my calendar list exercises that i don't/cannot do.

your site is not very good because you can not click on any because it just goes a way and tell this tiny bit of information which not helpful so to improve your site you should be able to click on to your links that don't work. this site is no good

Very simple Basil. Go to My workouts then click on Muscle & Fitness Workouts and you will find it there.

the site has so much potential. I am currently working with a trainer and want to keep track of my workouts, nutrition on your site. I am unable to do this since I cannot input the specific excercises i am doing. I really like the knowledge base and do read M&F hers. The food database could be alot better - see lance Armstrong site. I have to input most of the foods I eat as custom which seems silly. I had to input jennie O Extra lean Ground turkey which must be a staple in most training diets. I also find the navigation a little confusing. I watched the intro video but I always run into a dead end. Being able to click on excercises and add them to your workout would be really key. Thanks

While we DO come here for advice from the experts, we also know our own bodies and have our own knowledge. Not everyone fits into the "cookie cutter" of the prescribed workouts, just as some medications affect different people in different ways. I, along with a lot of others on this thread upgraded for the extra exercises and the Outlook feature, and all I get are pictures of examples of the exercise. Unless the "drag and drop" feature is added, I won't pay another $5. Not worth the extra expense.

Ya defeat the purpose, why not . Why dont you make your own workout and stop wasting everybody's time Einstein?

Kamille,
There wouldne be much point in us giving advice on what to do if we didnt give you a custom workout that we wrote. How would that be any different than you writing it yourself based on you own knowledge you have aquired. We are experts in this field. Its like going to the top professionals in fitness (which we are) and asking for them to give you a prescription for achieving your fitness goals. Thats what this is. You tell us what you want by answering the questions and we give you the formula for success. and allow you a variety of workouts just like we give you in the magazine for download. You dont pick up a copy of muscle and fitness and sift through a bunch of random exercises to formulate your own workout. You pick up that magazine to gett he actual workout. With the trainer we take a few steps further by offering a "conversation" that results in you recieving an exact workout that targets your goal specifically. -

I just signed up for the Muscle & Fitness Trainer. I was eager to upgrade my account because I wanted to leverage both the 1000's of exercises offered in the Trainer and the articles/exercises seen in the Muscle & Fitness Hers magazine. Like many of the women featured in the magazine, I wanted to be able to focus on different body parts for different days. I also wanted to be able to add more workout days as well. I thought the whole point of having the customized workouts is so that I can CUSTOMIZE my own workout. That is why I upgraded my account! Slightly disappointed.

If I upgrade my account I feel that I should be able to change my workout plan as I wish. I've finished month 1 of the advanced weight loss plan, and I cannot change my workout. This was the main reason why I upgraded my account. Why can't I get that month 2 workout? It's very frustrating. I workout 6 days a week and I personally do not need to have this other fancy stuff, I just want the workouts.

I agree, people should be able to build workouts using a "drag n drop" system, by muscle group and day. also, allow people to specify sets and reps accompied by a print out where you can hand write as you perform workout and then put into your M&F log binder.
Would be cool twould be to apply the same system to creating a diet as well. -

i think we should be able to view some of the exercises if we dont know what they are or how to perform them without paying maybe have a limited amout of what "standard members" can view if it"s that serious to pay for additional use.
-
Syd,
thats why we recommend getting the M&F strength bands. this way you always have what you need -

Is there a way I can change an exercise due to lack of equipment... for instance there is a chest or shoulder exercise which uses an equipment that I dont have. I could replace that exercise with another one in my workouts. Currently I dont think its doable in the Gym Workout or Calendar daily pages.

I have physical limitations due to friedreich's ataxia. My husband who has been into weight training for more than ten years would like to use the program to layout a workout plan that I can benifit from. We can not do it with the current set up. Although I have use of my entire body, I am unable to stand unassisted.
