While we DO come here for advice from the experts, we also know our own bodies and have our own knowledge. Not everyone fits into the "cookie cutter" of the prescribed workouts, just as some medications affect different people in different ways. Kamille,
There wouldne be much point in us giving advice on what to do if we didnt give you a custom workout that we wrote. How would that be any different than you writing it yourself based on you own knowledge you have aquired. We are experts in this field. Its like going to the top professionals in fitness (which we are) and asking for them to give you a prescription for achieving your fitness goals. Thats what this is. You tell us what you want by answering the questions and we give you the formula ... more

Its like going to the top professionals in fitness (which we are) and asking for them to give you a prescription for achieving your fitness goals. Thats what this is. You tell us what you want by answering the questions and we give you the formula for success. and allow you a variety of workouts just like we give you in the magazine for download. You dont pick up a copy of muscle and fitness and sift through a bunch of random exercises to formulate your own workout. You pick up that magazine to gett he actual workout. With the trainer we take a few steps further by offering a "conversation" that results in you recieving an exact workout that targets your goal specifically.
I just signed up for the Muscle & Fitness Trainer. I was eager to upgrade my account because I wanted to leverage both the 1000's of exercises offered in the Trainer and the articles/exercises seen in the Muscle & Fitness Hers magazine. Like many of the women featured in the magazine, I wanted to be able to focus on different body parts for different days. I also wanted to be able to add more workout days as well. If I upgrade my account I feel that I should be able to change my workout plan as I wish. I've finished month 1 of the advanced weight loss plan, and I cannot change my workout. This was the main reason why I upgraded my account. Why can't I get that month 2 workout? It's very frustrating. I workout 6 days a week and I personally do not need to have this other fancy stuff, I just want the workouts.
I agree, people should be able to build workouts using a "drag n drop" system, by muscle group and day. also, allow people to specify sets and reps accompied by a print out where you can hand write as you perform workout and then put into your M&F log binder.
Would be cool twould be to apply the same system to creating a diet as well.
i think we should be able to view some of the exercises if we dont know what they are or how to perform them without paying maybe have a limited amout of what "standard members" can view if it"s that serious to pay for additional use.
Is there a way I can change an exercise due to lack of equipment... for instance there is a chest or shoulder exercise which uses an equipment that I dont have. I could replace that exercise with another one in my workouts. Currently I dont think its doable in the Gym Workout or Calendar daily pages.
I have physical limitations due to friedreich's ataxia. My husband who has been into weight training for more than ten years would like to use the program to layout a workout plan that I can benifit from. We can not do it with the current set up. Although I have use of my entire body, I am unable to stand unassisted.
This is stupid, they only give me 1 split routine workout program! I only want to work out 4 times per week and because this specific workout is a 5 day split, it wont even ajust it for me. This is not a customized program, same for the nutrition!!!!!!!!
Its not about the $. its about offering a premium service. and yes $5, seriously is peanuts compared to what we give you. its less than the cost of a magazine subscription and a starbucks
Cihangir,
The website is 97% FREE. We dont flood you with promotions to upgrade. its optional. Plus we will not clutter this site with advertisements, so the only means to keep it running is with giving our users an optional upgrade. Nothing mandatory, just the option to keep it running.
This feature will be great but, i dont like the upgrade cost. If u make that feature for free, many people will register for this site. These means u will get many visitors. And that will bring more advertisement from supplement companies, sports centers, equippment stores vs vs vs...
Think bigger guys. More members more advertisements.
we will soon be updating a new feature that gives upgraded members access to the 100,7 exercises in our database. Again many exercises are specificly designed for different goals. WHen this feature is Live within the next 2-3 months everyone who has the $5 upgrade will be able to access this. Also guys we are in the process of shooting VIDEO for all of these exercises. Many of you who have already upgraded might notice this added feature when you click on the exercises descriptions if each workout. Thing... more
