My gym does not have all the equipment need for some of these workouts. There really should be some way to customize workouts

I would much rather choose my workouts than use the ones suggested. I also can only workout three days a week. The workouts really need to be customizable.

My customized workout is for 5 days. I can only get to the gym 3 days a week. I can't use a 5 day workout routine. How can I get a customized 3 day workout routine?

All the workouts are slowly but surely being loaded from the magazine...but again.......the workouts are populated and custom written based off of the information you entered when becoming a free member. Choosing generic workouts from a workout database does not have too much thought behind what should be written specifically based on goals. There would be no point in even trying to establish a user goal if this were the case. A great suggestion, however it really doe not apply when you fully understand the method of how the Trainer works. Trust us when we tell you we spent the last 7 years building this and the workouts we write for each profile are dialed in. we would be no different than most other generic websites out there if we cut corners and gave workouts to choose for anyone. Our programs have the laws of periodization built into each program with specific aspects that are appropriate for the individual, not the group. With over 126 profiles we have written each and every workout according to any possible goal.

a general comment...was looking at the M&F workouts...showtime in particular...for something different to do and what i'm seeing doesn't seem complete. wk 1 day 1 illustrates supersets and idnetifies when hiit training should be done, but none of the other days in the 4 week program do. from what i've read i thought the supersets mixed in with cardio were the foundation of this work out. i understand that trainer is still in the beta stage, so i wanted to point out this item. also, with these 'canned' workouts, an opening sentence or 2 about how the work out should be done would be benefical. i.e. showtime involves supersets with interval or cardio or what ever thrown in after every super set...or what ever the case should be...just some food for thought.

It would let me have a weightloss workout in the morning and a muscle building in the afternoon, but only for a week, then it dropped the afternoon workout - why????

THIS IS NOT CUSTOM... it only gives me 1 work out program to use and i cant split it into 4 days as oppose to 5...

I was just wondering exactly what is meant by iPod integration because I can't figure it out. Please let me know something soon. Thank you.

        Hello.
How do you go about getting more than month one? I thought if I upgrade then I would be able to get month two and so on.

I agree with Cody, personally I am in the Military so I can get deployed all over the place and who knows what kind of exercise equipment I will have around me.

Although not optimal, providing a back-up exercise would be good. For instance, if you don't own/have access a certain piece of equipment (Cable machine, bands, whatever) then you can't perform the recommended exercise. It also should be noted that some days users don't have access to a full-service gym, if at all.
Another option to solve the inconvenience would be to collect info on the type equipment the user has access to, then tailor the programs accordingly.
